Confianz has appeared for the first time in the ranking of law firms published by financial daily Expansión, one of the most widely recognised benchmark indices for annual trends in the sector in Spain.

The data for financial year 2017 rank our firm in 51st place among domestic firms in terms of overall volume of business and in 79th place for invoicing per lawyer. Confianz is ranked 16th in terms of personnel growth, based on the increase in the number of lawyers at each firm in Spain over the past financial year.

Our presence in the Expansión ranking comes along with other recognitions, such as the fact that for the past two years we have appeared in the Best Lawyers directory, one of the most prestigious international guides to law practitioners.

Best Lawyers is one of the world’s most prestigious guides to the legal profession, and it has now included Manuel Urrutia, partner and CEO of Confianz, for the second year in a row. The guide is compiled according to the opinions provided by professionals in the legal and business sector, who are polled on a yearly basis in a rigorous survey process by the editorial team at Best Lawyers. The issue now published corresponds to 2018, and Manuel Urrutia appears under the heading “Corporate and M&A Law”.

Best Lawyers is a US publication that is issued in seventy countries. It is an international referent in the legal and business world, as well as among the media and public opinion in general.
